Happy Saturday everyone!
It is SO-O-O beautiful in the windy city today, but my paper unfortunately has me quarantined indoors. Ugh ugh ugh.
Since procrastination is currently my theme song, and I was kinda missing you guys, I thought I'd roll with the blogging crowd and post a little "ABC" information about me!
So here it goes...

A. Age: 24
B. Bed size: Queen right now, but it sounds like I'm going to be forced to surrender to a King eventually! :(
C. Chore you dislike: Dishes & cleaning the shower, but both must get done!
D. Dogs: We don't have one of our own yet, but I'm hopeful we will adopt a furry friend soon! Until then, I consider my mom & grandma's dog, Rosie (a pleasantly plump basset hound mix), and Justin's family's dogs, Scrappy & Lucy, to be my step-doggies!
E. Essential start to your day: Coffee. Right away. And a little country music while I'm getting ready for the day!
F. Favorite color: This is currently in transition...and it depends. I love to wear black, but I am trying to wear more color. I'm a huge fan of blues and greens right now, and, of course, the girlie girl in me LOVES a 'lil pink!
G. Gold or silver: Silver.
H. Height: 5'3 & (I have been told) 3/4 of an inch.
I. Instruments you play(ed): I played some piano growing up, but I loved (and still do) singing the most. I was very active in choir, took lessons, and did some solo competition stuff. I was also in musicals! So much fun.
J. Job title: Law student (but only for 1 more month!) and, for now, law clerk.
K. Kids: I definitely want to have at least 2 kids, but obviously not for several more years.
L. Live: Chi-city.
M. Mom’s name: Allison, momeeee!
N. Nicknames: Everyone pretty much calls me "Jess," Jay, or buddy! My mom calls me many things, including baby Jess, bonnie Jess, and, at one time, "princess Jessica." I like it! ;) Just don't call me Jessie, because (in my mind) that's a boy's name and it drives me a little coo coo.
O. Overnight hospital stays: None, thankfully.
P. Pet peeves: Mean people and spitting. Yuck.
Q. Quote from a movie: Well this is kind of an interesting question, because I am TERRIBLE when it comes to movie quotes. When people try to quote them to me, I stare at them blankly, with NO CLUE what they are talking about! :( I wish I could give a movie quote, but I just plain can't think of one. I am, however, very good at remembering lyrics to songs, and my favorite "song quote" is "So many things that money buys, but really nothing I can find like sunshine & love." {That's from a Jessica Andrews song if anyone was wondering.}
R. Righty or lefty: Righty.
S. Siblings: Stephen, he's a chef! :)
T. Time you wake up: Anywhere from 6:30 to 7:30, depending on the day.
U. Underwear: I'm loyal to miss Victoria. I love hankie pankies too, but they are too expensive right now.
V. Vegetables you dont’ like: I am lucky that I LOVE vegetables. I do not, however, like mushrooms (unless they are sauteed in like a pound of butter), asparagus (although I wish I did like it!), and I am not too fond of green peppers.
W. What makes you run late: I think the better question would be, "What doesn't make you run late?" I am working on it. I would say -- traffic, public transportation, doing one thing too many before I walk out the door.
X. X-rays you’ve had: Hand (I dropped a coffee cup one morning and it smashed and I cut my finger pretty bad!) and teeth is all I can remember right now.
Y. Yummy food you make: All of the things I post on here! :) There are a few other recipes I am hoarding...and will get to eventually. I am also (hopefully soon!) going to put up a recipe "page" to make it a little easier for you guys to find my favorites.
Z. Zoo animal favorites: Monkeys!! Eee ee!
